NBA-Leading Spurs Beat Kings 130-102, Lose Top Scorer Parker

The National Basketball Association- leading San Antonio Spurs lost top scorer Tony Parker in their 130-102 defeat of the Sacramento Kings.

Parker suffered an ankle sprain on a drive to the basket with four minutes, 40 seconds left in the third quarter. He was helped off the court after falling to the ground and grabbing his leg.

DeJuan Blair scored 16 points, Danny Green had 15 points, Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter each added 14 and Parker, Tim Duncan and Matt Bonner scored 13 points apiece last night at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Marcus Thornton had 22 points and Isaiah Thomas tallied 18 for the Kings.

The Spurs (46-14) lead the NBA, two games ahead of the Miami Heat (42-14) and 26 games in front of the Kings (20-40).
