U.K. Pound Weakens Through $1.50 for First Time Since July 2010

The pound extended its decline against the dollar, weakening through $1.50 for the first time since July 13, 2010.

The British currency dropped as much as 1.1 percent to $1.4999 and was at $1.5013 as of 2:22 p.m. London time.
