U.K. Pound Drops 0.5% to $1.5439, Lowest Level Since July 13

The U.K. pound declined against the dollar, slipping to its lowest level in more than seven months.

Sterling fell 0.5 percent to $1.5444 as of 8:23 a.m London time, after touching $1.5439, the least since July 13.
