Xylem Inc. (XYL), the ITT Corp. spinoff that specializes in water technologies, said today that it acquired Pims Group, a U.K. wastewater services company, in a $57 million deal.

Pims, based in Farnborough, helps design, install and maintain pumping systems, sewers, oil interceptors, drains and sewage-treatment plants, White Plains, New York-based Xylem said in a statement.
