The New York Rangers traded veteran forward Mike Rupp to the Minnesota Wild for forwards Darroll Powe and Nick Palmieri.

Palmieri, 23, has spent this season with the American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros, scoring 10 goals with 11 assists in 40 games. In 87 career NHL games, the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder has 13 goals and 12 assists.

The Rangers face the New Jersey Devils in Newark, New Jersey, tomorrow night.
