Endo Health Solutions Inc., (ENDP) the maker of the painkiller Lidoderm, rose the most in seven years after a report said the drugmaker may sell itself.

The shares of the Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania-based company climbed 13 percent to $32.40 at 2:46 p.m. New York time after reaching $33.32 in the highest intraday increase since June 2005. Reuters cited unidentified sources in its article.

Blaine Davis, a spokesman for Endo, didn’t immediately return a voice-mail message seeking comment about the possible sale.
