ING U.S. Inc., an insurance subsidiary of the largest Dutch financial services company, named Fred Hubbell to its board of directors as the U.S. unit prepares for a public offering.

Hubbell served as a member of the executive board of ING Group from 2000 to 2006, according to a PR Newswire statement today from the unit of Amsterdam-based ING Groep NV.
