Nets Win Season-High Seventh Straight 113-106 Over NBA’s Raptors

The Brooklyn Nets beat the Toronto Raptors 113-106 to earn their season-high seventh consecutive National Basketball Association win.

The Nets (23-15) are in second place in the Eastern Conference’s five-team Atlantic division, 1 1/2 games behind the New York Knicks. The Raptors (14-24) are last, 10 1/2 games back.

Brook Lopez scored a game-high 22 points, one more than Deron Williams and Joe Johnson for the Nets at Barclays Center. Reserve Andray Blatche had 14 points on Brooklyn’s home court.

The Nets are 9-1 under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo, who was promoted when the team fired Avery Johnson.

Kyle Lowry came off the bench to score 21 points and Amir Johnson and Jose Calderon each added 15 points for the Raptors.
