Ecuadorean Banks Granted $1.62 Billion in New Loans in December

Ecuador’s banks and financial institutions, excluding government-owned lenders, granted $1.62 billion in new loans in December, a 3.8 percent reduction from the previous month, the central bank said today in a report on its website.
