European Union carbon allowances for December regained ground after falling to a record low of 5.85 euros a metric ton in early trading today.
The contract was unchanged at 5.92 euros on the ICE Futures Europe exchange as of 7:44 a.m. in London. It has dropped 11.2 percent this year.
