Armajaro Trading Names Andrew Stone as Chief Executive Officer

Armajaro Trading Group Ltd., a London-based supplier of sugar, cocoa and coffee, has named Andrew Stone as chief executive officer effective today.

Stone, who has been the trading house’s head of commodities since July 2012, will also join the board of parent company Armajaro Holdings Ltd., founded by Richard Gower and Anthony Ward, the company said in an e-mailed statement. Stone has been with Armajaro since mid-2009.

Gower, who had been acting as CEO for the trading group, will now take the post of non-executive chairman. Armajaro Trading’s former CEO Richard Ryan left the company in September.
