OCC Reports Third Quarter Trading Revenue of $5.3 Billion

U.S. commercial banks and savings institutions had trading revenue of $5.3 billion in the third quarter, 166 percent more than the prior three-month period, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said today in its Quarterly Report on Bank Trading and Derivatives Activities.
