Metinvest, Ukraine’s biggest steelmaker, will remove from operation a sinter facility at its Azovstal plant, Interfax-Ukraine newswire reported citing Chief Executive Officer Igor Syry.

The plant will shift its sinter production to Mariupolsky Metallurgical Plant of Illich, Interfax reported. The cost of restoring sinter production at Illich will top $300 million, according to the newswire.
