China’s CSI 300 Index fell for the first time in six days. Kweichow Moutai Co. led a drop for consumer-staples producers, while Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Rare-Earth Hi-Tech Co. slid the most in a week.
The Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.3 percent to 2,162.75 at 9:44 a.m. local time, paring this week’s gain. The CSI 300 Index fell 0.3 percent to 2,377.97, led by material producers.
