Pepe Reina’s future at Liverpool is under threat as the Reds consider signing a younger goalkeeper during the January transfer window, the Daily Mail reported.

Coach Brendan Rodgers could move for Birmingham’s England goalkeeper Jack Butland, 19, or Hannover’s Ron-Robert Zieler, 23, according to the Mail.

Sneijder Bid

Manchester City could bid for midfielder Wesley Sneijder, who has refused to take a pay cut at Inter Milan, the Daily Star reported.

City coach Roberto Mancini failed to land Daniele de Rossi and could turn to Sneijder instead, the Star said.

Michu Move

Swansea striker Michu is a target for Napoli and Genoa, the Daily Mirror reported.

The Spaniard, who scored twice at Arsenal last weekend, joined the Welsh club from Rayo Vallecano for 2 million pounds ($3.2 million) in the last offseason, the Mirror said.

No Party

Queens Park Rangers players won’t have a Christmas party this year because the team is marooned at the foot of the Premier League table, the Daily Telegraph reported.
