EBRD, Splitska Banka Lend 75 Million Euros to Local Companies

Splitska Banka d.d., the Croatian unit of Societe Generale SA (GLE), and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will lend 75 million euros ($98 million) to private businesses and individual consumers in Croatia.

The funds will be used with a “particular focus” on increasing lending to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as on improving regional expansion and increasing competitiveness, the EBRD said in an e-mailed statement.
