Allstate Has Work to Do at Life Insurance Unit, CEO Wilson Says

Allstate Corp. (ALL), the largest publicly traded seller of home and auto coverage in the U.S., will focus on improving life insurance results to meet targets for return on equity, Chief Executive Officer Thomas Wilson said.

“We have more work to do” at the life unit of the Northbrook, Illinois-based insurer, Wilson said today at a conference sponsored by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in New York.
