Japan Confirms at Least 9 Dead From Tunnel Collapse, NHK Says

At least nine people from three vehicles have been confirmed dead after an expressway tunnel collapsed yesterday, NHK reported.

Sections of the 4-kilometer Sasago tunnel on the Chuo Expressway, about 85 kilometers (53 miles) west of Tokyo, collapsed on the vehicles, NHK reported yesterday.
