China’s Sinohydro May Rebuild Railroads in Serbia, Tanjug Says

China’s Sinohydro Corp. is in talks with Serbia about participating in rebuilding hundreds of kilometers of rail track in the Balkan country, Tanjug reported, citing Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjic.

Sinohydro may start the work as early as March on sections of the main, north-south route, if it reaches an agreement with the Serbian government, the report said, citing the minister. Sinohydro decided to set up its main European office in Belgrade, said the news service.
