Brazil’s economy expanded 0.6 percent in the third quarter, the national statistics agency said today in Rio de Janeiro.
Gross domestic product grew 0.9 percent from a year earlier, the Rio de Janeiro-based agency said.
Analysts had forecast year-on-year expansion of 1.9 percent and growth of 1.2 percent compared with the second quarter, according to the median estimates from economists surveyed by Bloomberg.
