Argentina’s President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner canceled her planned trip to the Unasur summit in Lima, Peru, today due back pain, according to a statement released by her spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro.

Fernandez’s doctors recommended that she cancel the trip scheduled for tonight, the statement said.
