Swine fever is in Latvia, Russia’s food safety agency, Rosselkhoznadzor, said today in e-mailed statement. * Ban covers pork and its products that haven’t been heated to 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit) * NOTE: Latvia reported earlier this month classical swine fever in wild boars, the first case of the disease found in the Baltic nation since April 1996
