European Coal Price Has Biggest Drop in More Than a Week

European coal for next-year delivery declined the most in more than a week.

Thermal coal for delivery next year to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp fell as much as 0.8 percent, the most since Nov. 20, to $96.05 a metric ton, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg. The contract traded at $96.50 at 4:18 p.m. in London.
