Ukraine’s State Railways to Increase Cargo Fees, Kommersant Says

Ukrzaliznytsya, Ukraine’s state- managed railway company, wants to increase cargo tariffs by 12 percent from next year, Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper reported, citing Yuriy Merkulov, head of the company’s commercial directorate.

The tariff increase will boost revenue by 3.6 billion hryvnia ($440 million) next year, according to the newspaper.
