Obama Pardons Thanksgiving Turkeys

Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama spares the life of two turkeys named "Cobbler" and "Gobbler" in the annual Thanksgiving tradition, and reflects on the courage and resilience of those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The White House turkey pardon was started by Abraham Lincoln in the early 1860s and revived by Harry Truman in 1947. (Source: Bloomberg)
