Libyan Oil Revenues Exceed $44 Billion in Year Through October

Libyan oil revenues from the start of the year through Oct. 31 totaled 55.67 billion Libyan dinar ($44.1 billion), according to the country’s state news agency LANA, citing a banking operations report from the central bank.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s website estimated Libyan net oil export revenues at $44 billion in 2010 and $13 billion last year, when armed conflict gripped the country.
