East Libya Security Chief Assassinated by Gunmen, LNA Says

Armed assailants shot dead the security chief of the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, the Libya News Agency reported.

Three armed men in a vehicle opened fire on Colonel Faraj Dersi last night and fled the scene, Seraj Sheik, a senior official at the local security directorate, told the Tripoli- based news agency. Faraj died before arriving at hospital, the agency said.
