S&P 500 Extends Loss as Bernanke Says Fed’s Power `Not Infinite’

U.S. stocks extended losses as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said the central bank’s ability to offset economic headwinds are “not infinite” and business confidence has been “pretty low.”
