Notre Dame and Alabama Ranked 1-2 in AP College Football Poll

Notre Dame moved up to No. 1 and Alabama took over the No. 2 slot in the Associated Press college football poll today after upset losses by Oregon and Kansas State.

Notre Dame (11-0), which received all 60 first-place votes in the weekly poll, is atop the rankings for the first time since Nov. 14, 1993. The Fighting Irish, who had been ranked No. 3, finish their regular season Nov. 24 at Southern California.

Oregon had been No. 1 before losing in overtime to Stanford. Kansas State was No. 2 until losing at Baylor.
