CEZ AS (CEZ), the Czech Republic’s largest power producer, got only one improved offer for its Pocerady and Chvaletice coal-fired plants, E15 reported, citing spokeswoman Barbora Pulpanova.

Energeticky a Prumyslovy Holding AS submitted a new offer by the Nov. 9 deadline, the newspaper reporter.

Czech Coal AS, another potential buyer, insists on the original offer, saying it’s willing to negotiate about additional conditions, the newspaper said, citing Czech Coal spokeswoman Gabriela Benesova.
