Swedish Krona Weakens Against Euro After October PMI Declines

Sweden’s krona weakened against the both the euro and the dollar after a purchasing managers index declined to 43.1 in October from 44.7 the previous month. That compares with a median estimate of 45 in a Bloomberg survey of seven economists.

The krona reversed earlier gains and weakened 0.3 percent against the euro to 8.6248 and depreciated 0.52 percent versus the dollar to 6.6688 as of 8:40 a.m. in Stockholm.
