Monti Says Italy to Meet EU Budget Rules After Vote, Ansa Says

Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti said the next government, which will be installed after the parliamentary elections required by the end of April, will respect European Union budget rules, according to Ansa.

“Thank you for all the expressions of esteem, especially in recent weeks, but please relax,” Monti told reporters in Rome, Ansa said.
