Spanish 10-Year Bond Yield Drops to 5.54%; Lowest Since April 4

Spanish 10-year bonds extended an advance, pushing the yield on the securities to the lowest in more than six months.

The 10-year rate dropped 27 basis points, or 0.27 percentage point, to 5.54 percent as of 7:50 a.m. London time, the lowest since April 4.
