European Coal Rebounds From Lowest Price in More Than Two Years

European coal for next-year delivery advanced for the first time in five days after dipping to the lowest price in more than two years.

Thermal coal for 2013 delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp gained 0.3 percent to $93.60 a metric ton as of 10:23 a.m. in London, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg. The contract earlier dropped as much as 0.2 percent to $93.15 a metric ton, the lowest year-ahead price since May 2010.
