Emerging Global Advisors has started an exchange-traded fund that tracks Standard & Poor’s Emerging Markets Core Index.

The EGShares Emerging Markets Core ETF offers more country diversification than the benchmarks indexes provided by MSCI Inc. (MSCI) and FTSE Group, New York-based Emerging Global Advisors said in a statement.
