Evraz Vitkovice Steel AS temporarily shut down production at its Ostrava steel mill due to low demand for steel products and to “optimize” stock supplies, CTK reported citing Evraz’s spokesman Jaromir Krisica.
The management hasn’t decided yet when the steel mill will be restarted, the newswire added.
