Primerica to Buy Back $60 Million in Shares From Warburg Pincus

Primerica Inc. (PRI:US), the life insurer previously owned by Citigroup Inc., said it will repurchase $60 million of its shares from Warburg Pincus LLC.

The insurer will buy 2.09 million shares for $28.74 a piece, which was yesterday’s closing price, Duluth, Georgia- based Primerica said in a statement today distributed by Business Wire.
