Romanian Utility Seeks Funding to Upgrade Water, Sewage System

Apa-Canal Ilfov SA, a Romanian water utility, is seeking about 6.7 million euros ($8.7 million) in funding to upgrade a water and sewage system near the capital Bucharest.

The utility is asking for bids from financial institutions for a revolving credit line for upgrading water works in Ilfov county as the bidding deadline expires on Oct. 30, a European Union procurement document showed.
