European Coal for Next Year Declines to Lowest Level in 10 Weeks

European coal for delivery next year decreased to the lowest level in 10 weeks.

Thermal coal for delivery next year to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp fell as much as 0.7 percent to $96.55 a metric ton, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg. That’s the lowest level since July 23. The contract traded 0.5 percent lower at $96.75 a ton as of 11:35 a.m. in London.
