Soybean Futures May Open Steady to Higher on U.S. Export Sale

What follows are opening calls for U.S. grain and oilseed markets, which open at 5 p.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade.

-- Soybean futures may open steady to higher after the U.S. Department of Agriculture said that exporters sold 140,000 metric tons, Sterling Smith, a futures specialist at Citigroup Global Markets in Chicago, said in a report.

-- Corn and wheat futures may open little changed, Smith said.
