U.S. ‘Concerned’ About Anti-Japan Protests in China

The U.S. is concerned about anti- Japan protests in a dozen cities across China, where demonstrators took to the streets to protest Japan’s claim to disputed islands in the East China Sea.

“We’re concerned,” said State Department spokesman Victoria Nuland today. “We are going to continue to counsel Japanese leaders and Chinese leaders to talk to each other and work through these issues through dialogue.”
