More Than 30 Escape Jail in Northern Mexico, Universal Says

More than 30 prisoners escaped a penitentiary in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila and authorities have requested help from the U.S. in tracking them down, Mexican newspaper El Universal said.

At least one of the inmates escaped through a tunnel, El Universal reported, citing the state’s public security chief, Jorge Luis Moran.
