The European Union issued export licenses for 408,756 metric tons of soft wheat in the week ended Sept. 11, climbing 29 percent from the previous seven-day period, data from the bloc published online today showed.
Barley export licenses in the week more than tripled to 205,895 tons. Soft-wheat export licenses since July 2 total 2.54 million tons, while those for barley amount to 1.65 million tons, the data showed.
