The Orthodox Christian Church of Cyprus will work with an international company that has made an application to drill for natural gas in the country’s exclusive economic zone, CyBC said, citing Archbishop Chrysostomos II.

The church plans to use property as collateral in order to acquire a share in natural gas drilling and distribution activities, the Nicosia-based state-broadcaster today, citing the church leader as saying in a TV interview in its ‘From Day to Day’ program.
