Serbia Appoints Former CEZ Representative to Lead Power Monopoly

Serbia’s government appointed Aleksandar Obradovic, a former representative of Czech power utility CEZ AS in Belgrade, to head Elektroprivreda Srbije, Serbia’s electricity monopoly, a government spokesman said.

Obradovic takes over from Dragomir Markovic, who was Elektroprivreda’s general manager since March 2009, spokesman Milivoje Mihajlovic said in a phone interview after a Cabinet meeting today.
