Lithuanian demand for residential property jumped to the highest level in more than four years, the country’s registry office said.
The office registered 2,191 deals of apartment sales in August, the highest since April 2008, it said today in an e- mailed statement from the capital, Vilnius. Deals on residential houses surged 9.8 percent from a year earlier in the eight months to August, it said.
