Egypt to Spend $1.35 Billion on Water, Sewage Plans, Zawya Says

Egypt plans to spend $1.35 billion on water and sewage projects over the next nine months, a spokesman for the newly formed utilities, water and sewerage ministry was cited as telling the Zawya news agency.

About $900 million of that has been allocated to the National Authority for Drinking Water according to the ministry’s budget through June, Mohey el-Sairafi was quoted as saying in the report.
