Russia May Approve $300 Million for Serbia’s Budget, Tanjug Says

Serbia and Russia are close to reaching an agreement on a $300 million loan for the Balkan country to support its budget, the Tanjug newswire reported, citing a Serbian government official.

Funds from the loan would become available by mid-December and may be followed by another to support Serbia’s 2013 budget, Tanjug quoted Natural Resources and Mining Milan Bacevic as saying after he met in Moscow today with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
