Bechtel Group Inc. is “very interested” in bidding to build a liquefied natural gas plant in the United Arab Emirates sheikdom of Fujairah, its regional president for Europe, Africa and the Middle East said today.

The company has built LNG plants all over the world, David Welch told reporters in Abu Dhabi. The Fujairah project is being developed by International Petroleum Investment Co. and Mubadala Development Co.
