European Central Bank Executive Board Member Joerg Asmussen said that there are good reasons why the ECB is modeled after the Bundesbank and he attaches importance to the Bundesbank’s views, Maerkische Allgemeine reported.

“If the Bundesbank has concerns, I have to take that seriously,” Asmussen said in an interview with the newspaper.
